Support Us

As a small charity based in Glasgow, we rely on grant funding, project funding, and individual support to help us continue delivering our arts therapy work to children throughout our city and beyond.

You can help Spiral by making a donation. No matter how small, it can really make a difference. You can make a one-off donation or set up a regular gift to support the charity.

Alternatively, you can support us by purchasing lottery tickets with 50% of the proceeds going directly to us, or by donating your time to volunteer and support our team.

fundraising assurance

Fundraising is essential for many Scottish charities, as we rely on voluntary contributions to sustain our efforts. Without the generous, thoughtful, and committed support of donors, we could not achieve our charitable mission. We greatly value the contributions of our donors and recognise the importance of balancing our responsibilities to our beneficiaries with our obligations to our supporters.

That’s why we make this commitment to you.

We will comply with all laws related to charities and fundraising. Additionally, we are committed to adhering to best practices as outlined in the Fundraising Code of Practice.

We will monitor our fundraisers, volunteers, and third parties who work with us to ensure they also comply with this Code of Practice.

We guarantee that our fundraising efforts will reflect the values of the Code: being Legal, Open, Honest, and Respectful. To promote and uphold these values, we commit to the following standards:

  • We will clearly communicate who we are and what we do.

  • We will provide a straightforward explanation of how you can make a gift, as well as how to change or stop a regular donation.

  • If you decide not to give or wish to cease your contributions, we will respect your decision.

  • We are committed to respecting your rights and privacy.

  • We have established a procedure to assist individuals in vulnerable circumstances, which will be published on our website and is also available upon request.

  • Your data will be held securely.

  • We will communicate with you according to your chosen preferences.

If you believe we have not upheld these standards or think we can improve, please reach out to our Development Officer at admin@spiralartstherapy.com. We will address your complaint promptly and thoroughly.

We are dedicated to making our complaints process clear and easily accessible. Additionally, we will provide well-defined and evidence-based explanations for our decisions concerning complaints.

However, if you are dissatisfied with our response, you can take this further by contacting the Scottish Fundraising Standards Panel at www.goodfundraising.scot.
